IIS expert guides
When I left the Microsoft IIS team over 12 years ago, I continued writing blog posts about IIS as I had during the IIS 7.0 development cycle. On top of it all, I was also finishing the IIS 7 Resource Kit book.
But, after a while, I got so busy with my new projects that blogging became more and more rare.
Then I started LeanSentry in 2011, and my blogging slowed to a crawl. I was spending most of my time developing IIS and ASP.NET diagnostics, yet I found little time to write about them.
10 years later, LeanSentry remains the only product 100% dedicated to detecting and diagnosing IIS and ASP.NET performance problems. We’ve helped tens of thousands of IIS websites resolve hangs, crashes, CPU and memory issues, and the like …
And you know the number one thing everyone still asks for?
Best practices to help them understand how to successfully troubleshoot and optimize their sites.
IIS expert guides
So finally in 2021, I spent the first 6 months writing down every technique and trick we’ve used to tune and fix IIS performance problems.
It felt so good to write all of this down … especially if this truly helps you and the IIS community to get things done, better and faster.
We are going to release these expert guides in the next several months. To get these, sign up for our Guide newsletter over at www.leansentry.com/guide.
If you are finding these useful, please leave your thoughts, notes and questions in the comments for the guides. I will take the time to review and incorporate these as the guides get published. I hope you get a lot of value from these, and if not, let me know so I can make them better.
Thanks again for a great 10 years, and here is to many more!
